Project:
Dockercon
Docker’s conference brand ‘Dockercon’ was overdue for a makeover. Breaking into the large Silicon Valley tech space, Docker wanted to ideate and create illustrations for their young and playful brand. Pictured below is Dockercon Barcelona, 2018.
Working closely with the creative team, my responsibilities as one of the core Designers was to expand on the illustrations provided into differing collaterals related to the event. During this process, the challenge was always the time limitations set for each collateral, as there is a strict schedule for when the items must be sent to production. As a close-knit team, everyone tag-teamed accordingly to deliver all the graphic assets. I worked closely with the Art Director and Creative Producer to develop a cohesive system and look; keeping within the boundaries of the selected illustration style. This relationship with Docker is continuous, and as a team, we have worked on multiple Dockercon events, including the one hosted in San Francisco in 2019.
